n28340174986_4433…for good?  Well, if you’ve ever heard the name Brett Favre or Michael Jordan you know never to use those words at the end of any sentence.  But guardian.co.uk reports that the longtime guitarist (and don’t forget the occasional backup vocals) has left the band.  An unnamed source told MusicRadar that ubiquitous guitarist (and friend of Frusciante’s) Josh Klinghoffer has been playing with the group while they search for a permanent replacement.  Never one to bask in the spotlight, Frusciante plans to continue a solo career that’s already ten albums deep. A poll at InvisibleMovement.com, Frusciante’s unofficial website, show most results at “This Just Plain Sucks” or “I won’t believe it until I hear it from them/him.”  As Pepper and Frusciante fans, IF wishes both parties the best.  But we’ve got to admit, if there is a replacement for Frusciante, Klinghoffer might not be a bad option.  Check out a video of the two J’s playing together at The Glass House in Pomona.
