If there are four bands in history that have represented with absolute purity the spirit of punk, Fugazi is definitely one of them. The D.C. legends are known almost as much for their grassroots promotion style and low ticket prices as the unapologetically loud (and delightful) music they made from 1989 to 2001. Pitchfork reports (via Punknews.org) that Fugazi will soon launch a website containing, in the words of guitarist/vocalist Guy Picciotto, “almost every show we’ve ever played.” According to Picciotto, the first shows will be posted at the end of this year or the beginning of next.
