There are just about enough demo collections and box sets nowadays to make anyone nauseous; fortunately, Spoon decided to take the simple route this year.  They have just made available a ten-track demo CD on their website, and you can get it either as an mp3 download or a CD. (via Pitchfork)  While it doesn’t include any material from their latest album, Transference, it does have versions of a few of their best earlier works, including “Don’t Let It Get You Down” and “My Mathematical Mind.”  And it’s not like they slacked off with the album artwork, as you can see.  Also available is this interesting votive candle designed by Rob Jones (who has also designed Spoon posters in the past).  Buy the demos here, and check out the tracklist below.
