Tom Hanks is making up for Cast Away and Forrest Gump (yes, no matter what anyone says, both of those movies are painful to watch, and no, I’m not including Sleepless in Seattle or You’ve Got Mail out of respect for Meg Ryan and Dave Chappelle) with his latest revival of The 3-Minute Talk Show with Barry Sobel.

The host, as you might have guessed, is actor/comedian Barry Sobel, and the brilliant Fred Willard plays Andy Richter to Sobel’s Conan O’Brien.  Australian singer-songwriter Ben Lee heads the house band.  Unlike the original show, it runs closer to six minutes, but let’s not be picky.

Lexus’ L Studio will “air” the internet show, whose future guests include Johnny Knoxville, Two and a Half Men‘s Jon Cryer, and a slew of guests that Sobel (deliberately) “runs out of time for,” Jimmy Kimmel style.

L Studio debuted the first two episodes earlier today.  The first one features Hanks himself, and the second features Bryan Cranston of Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle.  Watch them both below.
