Whatever you think of OK Go’s (I haven’t been all that interested since pumping myself up to “Get Over It” before 7th grade basketball games) music you just cannot deny the fact that they’re absolute video innovators.  Speculate however you will about how responsible they are for the creative force behind them, but you have to give them some credit – I mean, after all, it is their music and not anyone else’s that’s featured in the video for “Here It Goes Again.”  Even if you underwent months of youtube fasting in 2006, there’s a damn good chance you’ve seen it.  Directed by Trish Sie, it featured the band members dancing on staggered treadmills facing different directions, creating a stunningly simplistic and low-budget display of visual brilliance.

Well, they seem to have outdone themselves again, this time with a little help from the folks at Mindshare Labs (aka Syynlabs)  On the first of the month (March, that is) the band released the video for “This Too Shall Pass” off their January release Of the Blue Colour of the Sky. This one has band members in white jumpsuits and goggles, each drenched in a different color paint.  As you might have guessed, that’s not the part that makes it so great.  No, that would be a Rube Goldberg Machine that would make Pee-Wee Herman’s jaw completely fall off. Absolutely mind-boggling.  Check out both videos below!
