With a battle-crying band of brothers to back them up, the Jersey punk natives of Titus Andronicus bring playful mayhem to a winter wonderland in their new video for “A More Perfect Union,” off their sophomore album The Monitor. Directed by Claire Carré, the video features band members, among other things, patriotically bearing flags (especially fitting in light of the song’s original album intro and title). An emphatic Patrick Stickles (vocals, guitar) even screams into a tape recorder before the video culminates in a crowd of fist-pumping kids wearing Shakespearean garb and pounding on Civil War snare drums. Entirely wholehearted and tireless, Titus knows how to rock out just about anywhere at this point.
